| July 29, 2004 Hunt-Scanlon Names Christopher Hayes as Chief Marketing Officer Stamford, CT, July 29, 2004 Hunt-Scanlon Advisors, the market research firm and online information provider to the human capital and executive recruiting industries, today announced it has appointed Christopher Hayes to lead the company's marketing function. Mr. Hayes, 33, most recently served as an independent marketing consultant where he worked on the launch of InTouch Weekly which was named Adweek's Magazine Launch of the Year. Prior to his consulting role, Mr. Hayes was senior vice president of marketing services for Euro RSCG MVBMS Partners where he oversaw acquisition and retention programs for clients such as Miramax, Neutrogena, MasterCard and Verizon. In addition, Mr. Hayes worked on diversity campaigns for Microsoft Small Business. In his new position, he will report to Christopher W. Hunt, Hunt-Scanlon's president and co-founder. As chief marketing officer, Mr. Hayes will be responsible for leading all marketing and sales activities for Hunt-Scanlon's publications, conferences and Web-based products. His duties will include developing promotional campaigns, managing corporate sponsorships and identifying new opportunities for cross-selling Hunt-Scanlon's offerings in news services and industry research. In addition, given his strong experience in diversity marketing, Mr. Hayes will be responsible for growing Hunt-Scanlon's Institute for Corporate Diversity properties, including Diversity Monitor, Diversity Newswire and the award-winning Diversity in Corporate America directory and database. "Chris is recognized as an experienced and insightful marketer that makes him the ideal candidate to lead our marketing efforts," said Scott A. Scanlon, chairman and CEO of Hunt-Scanlon. "He has a proven track record in designing programs that increase market penetration and reach new targets." Mr. Hayes is a native of Greenwich, Conn., and now resides in New York City. Prior to Euro RSCG, Mr. Hayes was president of Hayes & Associates, a marketing firm that focused on advertising and grassroots promotions for clients such as BMG, HBO and Sotheby's. Hayes & Associates was acquired by a division of Euro RSCG in 1999. For the past six years, Mr. Hayes has been an adjunct instructor at New York University's Marketing and Management Institute and is currently the director of the Integrated Marketing Institute, which he created to instruct senior level marketers on the tenets of holistic campaigns. Mr. Hayes graduated from Fairfield University where he earned a BA degree in American Studies.
