| August 4, 2003 Hunt-Scanlon Names Shawn de Leon To Head Sales and Marketing Stamford, CT, August 4, 2003 Hunt-Scanlon Advisors, a market research firm and online information provider to the human capital and executive recruiting industries, today announced it has appointed Shawn de Leon to lead the company's marketing and sales function. Mr. de Leon, 34, most recently served as an e-commerce business analyst at Beiersdorf Inc., a $5.4 billion skin care company in Norwalk, CT, where he managed the e-commerce sales activities for a number of well-known consumer product lines, including Nivea, Curad band-aids among others. In his new position, he will report to Christopher W. Hunt, Hunt-Scanlon's president and co-founder. As director of sales and marketing, Mr. de Leon will be responsible for leading all marketing and sales activities for Hunt-Scanlon's publications, conferences and Web-based products. His duties will include developing Internet-based promotional campaigns, managing corporate sponsorships and identifying new opportunities for cross-selling Hunt-Scanlonšs offerings in online news services and industry research. Mr. de Leon graduated from Northeastern University in 1991 where he earned a BA degree in business marketing and communication.
