| April 10, 2001 Hunt-Scanlon Appoints Five Industry Veterans to Conference Advisory Board Stamford, CT, April 10, 2001 Hunt-Scanlon Advisors, a leading market research firm and online data provider to the executive recruiting industry, today named five directors to the company's Conference Advisory Board, adding new members from industry, consulting, executive search and investment banking to its existing roster of distinguished advisors. The purpose of the board is to provide constructive feedback and expert guidance to Hunt-Scanlon's senior management team overseeing the company's human capital conference business, including agenda planning, destination study and speaker selection. Bryant, Managing Director/Director Corporate Communications, Russell Reynolds Associates; Michael P. Castine, Managing Partner, TMP Worldwide; John D. Delpino, Director Executive Staffing, PepsiCo; Kelly A. Flynn, Vice President, UBS Warburg; Smooch S. Reynolds, President, The Repovich-Reynolds Group; and Brian M. Sullivan, Practice Managing Partner Global Financial Services, Heidrick & Struggles International. Overviews of the newest Advisory Board members follow: James J. Drury, Vice Chairman Americas of Spencer Stuart, has been in the executive search industry for 22 years. He joined Spencer Stuart in 1984 and previously held responsibilities as U.S. Managing Partner, as well as Managing Director of the Midwest. Earlier in his career, he spent 10 years in management consulting, first with Donald R. Booz & Associates, and then with Arthur Young & Company as a Vice President. He began his career as the Director of Strategic Planning at The Boeing Company. David A. Lord, President and founder of Executive Search Information Services, is a consultant to corporations seeking advice on the process of working with an outside executive search consultant. He is a former editor at Kennedy Information and co-author of Executive Search in the Americas, a market report published by The Economist. Mr. Lord has served as a guest editor of The Journal of Executive Search Consulting and as a contributor to Search Connection, both published by the Association of Executive Search Consultants. James A. Mueller, Director of Executive Recruiting for IBM, joined the company in 1997 to assume responsibility for IBM's global executive recruiting and outplacement programs. Prior to joining IBM, Mr. Mueller had an 11-year career in corporate human resources for Marriott International in Washington, D.C. He began his human resource career with Rockwell International in 1976 in Dallas and subsequently worked in two high tech and oilfield services companies in Texas before joining Pepsi-Cola in Purchase, New York as manager of staffing operations. Gerard R. Roche, Senior Chairman of Heidrick & Struggles International, has over 30 years of experience as an executive recruiter. He joined Heidrick in 1964 and became Senior Vice President and eastern manager in 1973. Mr. Roche was named Executive Vice President in 1977 with responsibility for all domestic operations. The following year he became President and CEO and then in 1981 he was named Chairman of the firm. Prior to entering executive search, Mr. Roche began his professional career as a management trainee at AT&T and then subsequently worked for the American Broadcasting Company and Kordite Corporation. Adam Waldo, a leading equity research analyst, covers the North American business services industry for Credit Suisse First Boston. Prior to joining CSFB's Chicago office, Mr. Waldo was the North American Business Services analyst at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. He previously was a consultant in the consumer and customer retention practice at Bain & Company and also worked at the Frito-Lay division of PepsiCo. Companies he currently follows for CSFB include Paychex, Administaff, Spherion, Heidrick & Struggles International, and Korn/Ferry International.
