The conference will be held February 7 and 8 in New York City at The Waldorf-Astoria.

Scheduled to appear will be key speakers and panelists from Fortune 500 companies, venture capital firms, investment banks and executive search firms who are successfully winning the "War for Talent." Senior executives from companies including Accel Partners, ChiefMonster.com, GE Capital, General Atlantic Partners, Heidrick & Struggles International, Hewlett Packard, Korn/Ferry International, PepsiCo and UBS Warburg will share new perspectives on how they are reinventing human capital management strategies to achieve a competitive advantage.

Among the presentations to be discussed: The CEO as Chief Recruiter; The State of the Art of Talent Seeking; Human Assets on the Balance Sheet; Talent Agents and Hired Guns; Identifying and Developing Leaders from Within; Rethinking the "Employer of Choice" Concept; and Creating Winning Recruitment and Retention Strategies.

"The key consideration when measuring company performance today is the capability and influence of an organization's management team," said Dean W. Fichtner, chief marketing officer of Hunt-Scanlon. "Companies that acknowledge and quantify the value of management assets are those poised to excel in today's New Economy environment, where talent is in the shortest supply ever recorded. We expect this conference to provide an excellent forum for learning and sharing with peers. Delegates will leave with a better understanding of what they need to do to gain an edge in this fierce labor market."
