Hunt-Scanlon Reports Surge in Web Site Activity in First Quarter

Stamford, CT, April 10, 2000 – The e-commerce unit of Hunt-Scanlon Corporation, hunt-scanlon.com, announced today that its Web site impressions soared over 250 percent in the first quarter while the number of hits exceeded the 1.5 million mark according to the latest activity reports supplied by WebTrends Corporation. Key contributors to the site's traffic growth were the recent launch and expansion of two new channels (executiveselect.com and recruiterlink.com) dedicated to providing daily news feeds as well as proprietary software tracking tools for identifying corporate executives and recruiters throughout North America.

"The convergence of hunt-scanlon.com's targeted news content and free leadership tracking products with the urgent need for identifying and locating candidates and recruiters has had a significant impact on traffic flow to our recruitment portals," said Dean W. Fichtner, chief marketing officer for Hunt-Scanlon. "I expect this traffic surge to continue as we further refine our e-commerce platform strategy by offering more value-added services to our subscriber base and establishing strategic alliances with preferred partners."
