PureCarbon Completes Second Round Of Financing

Scotts Valley, CA-based PureCarbon, a developer of human resources solutions for recruiting, has completed its second institutional round of funding. Industry Ventures and internet.com Ventures led this round, with participation from TSX Ventures and previous investor Band of Angels Fund. Though the exact amount received was not disclosed, PureCarbon spokesperson Jennifer Massaro says the new round exceeds that of PureCarbon's first-round, $3 million financing. Funding will used to drive sales momentum, product development, and possible acquisitions of firms with complementary products or services. As a result of this second round, Industry Ventures partner Norman Villarina joins PureCarbon's board of directors.
