David Daniel Elected Leader Of Spencer Stuart

David Daniel is the new head of executive search firm Spencer Stuart following a vote among the firm's partners yesterday. Most recently the Managing Director, Americas, overseeing the firm's activities in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and South America, Mr. Daniel succeeds Joe Griesedieck as chief executive officer of Spencer Stuart. As an executive recruiter, Mr. Daniel conducted searches in the consumer products and retail sectors, placing candidates at such clients as J. Crew, The Body Shop, Brooks Brothers and Heineken. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Mr. Daniel was President/CEO of Simint USA, the American licensee for Armani Jeans. Mr. Griesedieck, who announced earlier this year his plans to step down this month, is returning to client practice.
