Jim Conroy Elected Chairman Of IIC Partners

IIC Partners, a global organization of independent, retainer-based search firms, has elected Jim Conroy as it chairman. Elected to the post at IIC Partner's annual general meeting, held in Munich, Germany, Mr. Conroy succeeds J. P. Heyerdahl. Mr. Conroy, managing partner and cofounder of Calgary, Alberta-based Conroy Partners, Ltd., will continue overseeing his firm while handling his new responsibilities as chairman. One of his goals is to expand IIC Partners' presence in North and South America and to also bring in new members in China and Eastern Europe. "Growth is beneficial to our organization so we can continue to provide the reach and expertise our clients have come to expect," he says. IIC Partners firms have 39 offices in 26 countries.
