Techies.com Hires Ex-USA Today Editor As Editorial Director

Technology-focused careers site Techies.com has hired Patricia Edmonds, a former national staff reporter for USA Today, the newspaper owned by Gannett Co., as its editorial director. In her new job, Ms. Edmonds, most recently a vice president for content at womenCONNECT.com, a Website for professional women, will supervise a staff of journalists creating content related stories for Website members. Ms. Edmonds reports to Cynthia Morgan, techies.com vice president of content.
