Spherion Reports 37 Cents Per Share Earnings For Third-Quarter

Spherion Corporation, owner of executive search firm The Stratford Group, middle-level placement firm Michael Page International and job-board JobOptions.com, among other staffing-related entities, announced earnings of 37 cents per share on revenues of $936.7 million, a two percent decline compared to earnings of 42 cents per share before special charges on revenues of $956.4 million for the same period one year ago. Revenues of Spherion's Professional Services group, which includes executive search business Stratford Group, Imcor, the interim-executive unit, and careers site JobOptions.com, increased 17 percent to $329.7 million from the year-ago period.
