Monster.com Unveils Web-based Hiring Management System

Four months after Monster.com's purchase of Simpatix, maker of HireTrak, a hiring management software program, the careers site has introduced a Web-based hiring management system aimed at small- and medium- sized businesses. The new product, created from the HireTrak software, allows Monster.com customers to post jobpostings to Monster.com and also to their corporate site. Candidate responses are tracked and routed into a centralized, searchable database. Subscribers to Monster.com's resume database can also copy resumes from the Monster.com resume bank and save them into a corporate pool. Monster Momemtum users cannot post listings to jobboards other than Monster.com or a corporate site. The service can collect data required to produce the EEO-1, the standard report required by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, to monitor employers' hiring practices.
