Connet & Co. Places CEO For UpShot.com

Executive search firm Connet & Co. has recruited Robert Reid, formerly the chief executive of Seeker Software, to the chief executive and president roles at UpShot.com, a maker of sales force automation tools, based in Mountain View, CA. Mr. Reid takes over for company founder Keith Raffel, who remains as chairman. UpShot makes Internet-based software used for by salespeople to manage contacts, prospects and teams. Privately held, UpShot has received funding from ABN AMRO, Advanced Technology Ventures, Intel Capital, FrontLine Capital Group and others.
