Jobvite Appoints Former Head of Yahoo! HotJobs As CEO

Jobvite, provider of next-generation recruitment solutions, has appointed Dan Finnigan as president and chief executive officer. In his new role, Mr. Finnigan will lead the company, working closely alongside Jobvite founder and former CEO, Jesper Schultz, who will take the role of chief product officer. Previously, Mr. Finnigan served as senior vice president of Yahoo! and general manager of Yahoo! HotJobs. At Yahoo! he drove substantial growth in revenue, profitability and traffic for the HotJobs business, culminating in establishing Yahoo and HotJobs' partnership with a consortium of over 700 newspapers, today representing 41 percent of total Sunday circulation in the U.S. Prior to Yahoo!, Mr. Finnigan led the creation of Knight Ridder Digital, subsidiary of the second largest newspaper company, serving as president and CEO. Korn/Ferry Expands External Affairs Center Of Expertise

Executive search firm Korn/Ferry International has announced several key changes within its external affairs center of expertise. Effective immediately, the practice has been renamed the corporate affairs center of expertise. This move is intended to more appropriately reflect the scope of expertise the practice provides both domestically and internationally. The new practice, with its team of search consultants, will specialize in three core areas -- corporate communications, government relations and investor relations. The team is comprised of former practitioners who have more than 75 years of functional leadership experience in the specialties they service.
